ANCIENT HISTORY - Bronze Age arrowhead
Four coins were recently found in a field in Benhall on 23rd January 2022, one Roman dated from 117AD and another dated to Edward I, as well as this early flint arrow-head below – see History Group’s web for additional information on the finds.

A knapped flint, barbed and tanged arrowhead dating from Early Bronze Age (C 2700 BC – C 1600 BC). The arrowhead is bifacially worked and sub-triangular shaped. The tang was used to secure the arrow tip to its shaft, projecting slightly below the ends of the barbs on each side as illustrated next:-
